Join us! Mahjong is a centuries-old tile game that is steeped in history, art, and tradition, and will quickly become your newest obsession! Lisa from Blue Tiger Mahj Club will be on hand to teach you all the beginner basics: the tiles, the player card, how to deal, finding your best hand, and so much more! Enjoy a coffee or tea while you get your mahj-on in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere!

Ticket includes:

• All mahjong game pieces, accessories, cards, and teaching aids available for use during the lesson

• Coffee drink of your choice from Harvey's Tales coffee bar (no outside food or beverages please)

Agenda

10:50 - 11:00am • Player arrival, find a seat

11:00 - 12:15pm • Brief history of mahjong, learn the tiles, objective of the game, learn about beginner hands

12:15 - 12:25pm • Refreshment break

12:30 - 2pm • Deal, Charleston, and game play
